Difference between land rover and range rover
Considering the resemblance and similarities, it is unsurprising that people find it confusing to differentiate between a Land Rover and a Range Rover. You might have possibly heard it occasionally that all Range Rovers are Land Rovers, whereas not all Land Rovers are Range Rovers. The difference between a Land Rover and a Range Rover is clear and concise.
LAND ROVER
The Land Rover is the brand that makes the Range Rover SUVs and the Land Rover SUVs. There are seven SUVs in total that can be found in the Land Rover lineup. Four of these seven Models belong to the Range Rover family, while the other three belong to the Land Rover family.
RANGE ROVER
The Range Rover is given explicitly to a particular Land Rover model. Aside from being the name given to a specific Land Rover model, the Range Rover is also the label with which a subcategory of Land Rover is tagged with, "The Range Rover lineup (or the Range Rover family)."
As a subcategory, the Range Rover lineup comprises four (4) different Range Rover SUVs: Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Range Rover Velar.
